Here's a pic of my temp work area.  It's a 2x4 bench screwed together with a front vice I made from a length of all-thread and some scrap.  Hardly quality, but it's functional... hahahaha

One day I'll have a bench that sounds as beautiful as Andy's.

    Shawn:

That's a fine work area, really like those wooden filing cabinets, and noticed the beam bench on the log.

In my hand tool area,I really like everything to be close, would have mine closed up more if I did not need to get a wheelchair around the area.  Still try and keep stuff within a few steps, keeps things at hand and reduces falls ;-)

Do you use that for a saw bench?

    Andy

Thanks Andy. Yes, I use that bench all the time. It's a great place to do some long ripping. The only real bad thing is all of that is outside on my carport. I broke ground on a shop this past weekend. Hopefully I'll have a warm place to work very soon. My wife is very supportive, but not sure how much more she'll put up with me making shavings in the living room. Hahaha
