Dog holes

    Rob, I started a bench before you added the powertool section. I would have done yours but I already built the base and half of the top. I like the way you do your dog holes. I know you use a dado blade on the table saw to cut them. What I want to know is what size did you make yours. Thanks for the great videos you are putting out. I'm learning a lot.  Gary

    Hi  Gary, I have done them several ways but the best was to make the with one pass of the dado head.  I use spacers between the cutters to make the dado as wide as I can.  This way the dogs fit every hole with a lot less hassle.  Then end up a little less than 7/8ths but i have not found that to be a problem.  cheers
