    Hey Rob,
I'm really looking forward to the power tool workshop, it should compliment the hand tool workshop very nicely. It looks like you'll be a very busy man this year - good luck.

Are you going to have a list of recommended power tools that one should have in their power tool shop? What power tools are going to be featured in the assembly table and bench build? What kind of joinery is going to be used for the assembly table?

    Rob,

Will there be an upcoming projects list for the power tool workshop? I already have a work bench. So I would like to wait for the next project to sign up.

LONG QUESTION!  WE DID A SHOP TOUR IN THE FIRST EPISODE TO SHOW WHAT I WOULD CONSIDER A BASIC TOOL COLLECTION.  AS WE GO I AM SURE OTHER SMALLER TOOLS WILL APPEAR, BARRING THAT THE BASICS WILL COVER MOST OF THE WORK.  TABLE SAW, JOINTER, PLANER, BAND SAW, DRILL PRESS AND LATHE.  THE ASSEMBLY BENCH WILL BE MOSTLY MODIFIED MORTISE AND TENON WITH STOVE BOLTS FOR FASTENERS.  THIS WAS DESIGNED TO BE A SIMPLE, FEW REQUIRED TOOLS AND EASY TO BUILD BENCH FOR THOSE STARTING OUT.  IT TURNED OUT TO BE SO USEFULL I KEPT MINE AS AN ASSEMBLY BENCH.  THE IDEA HERE IS TO PROVIDE A STABLE PLATFORM FOR BUILDING A PROPER WORK BENCH.  CHEERS

HI JAMES, THIS ONE IS GOING TO BE FAIRLY OPEN ENDED.  ASSEMBLY BENCH FIRST, GOING TO BUILD A TABLE SAW SLED AND SHOOTING BOARD ALONG THE WAY.  THEN THE BENCH.  DINING TABLE IS ON THE DRAWING BOARD, SHAKER BENCH, CHEST OF DRAWERS AND AFTER THE BASICS ARE COVERED WE WILL LET THE MEMBERS DECIDE.

    CHEERS

    Rob,

Thank you. A dinning table would be great! Chest of drawers? Fantastic!
