Jointer issues.

    Hi Rob,

I was watching episode 62 of the base cabinets today and I noticed you were having jointer issues. For determining parallelism of the tables to the cutterhead and to each other along the axis of the cutterhead I really recommend one of these (the Oneway Multi Guage). https://www.woodcraft.com/products/oneway-multi-gauge?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-Iv-q5bs1wIVBGt-Ch03JQXbEAQYASABEgKCQ_D_BwE I recently (yesterday in fact) had to fix some snipe and outfeed table out of parallel with the cutterhead on my jointer and I was able to get it all dialed in within a 0.001" in short order with this tool. I have used it for a variety of other machine setup activities as well where accuracy and precision are important such as checking the parallelism of the planer cutterhead and table,

    Rick

I've got one too. Works really well.
