Miter Gauge Slop

I have the same saw you do.  The ONLY complaint I've ever had with it was the miter gauge that came with the saw. I couldn't get it to hold the settings.  My solution was to replace it with an after market gauge from Incra.  That solved the issue.  I spent a lot of time chasing small errors when I realized the problem was that the gauge kept slipping very slightly at random times, no matter how tight it was screwed down.  After the replacement, no more problems.  I relegated the original gauge to my router table.  Other than the gauge, the Sawstop ICS is a most fantastic cabinet saw.

Hi Tom, funny to have gone this long without noticing that but i dont use a miter gauge that often.  I hope this has been brought to their attention already.  cheers
