    Hi Rob

As you were working on the revised feet for the cabinets I recalled a previous comment you made about how uneven the shop floor is.

Is now a good time to consider installing some kind of leveling capability as the feet are being installed.

    enjoying the workshop series. Thanks

    regards

    Hey Vic,

He's already got it in the plans, he's been saving up all those wedged offcuts from previous episodes for just such an occasion. LOL!  Seriously though, since this is being designed for shop use, and shops always seem to evolve over the years, it seems real likely that any "built in" levelers may not be very effective down the road.  Shimming during the installation seems a much more likely solution, doesn't it?

    Hi Jim

thanks for your reply and thoughts. I see your point :-)

But...just to be more clear than I was initially I was thinking of some type of screw type leveler that is easily adjustable. along the lines of the bolt type levelers we have on many of our machines.

Hi Vic, I am really late to this party but we have been up to our eyeballs the past month.  I think I will build a level platform on the floor that the cabinet will sit on.  cheers
