    Team,

I'm trying to see what it is you guys are working on in the Hand Tool and Power Tool videos to decide what one I should sign up for and your site has no information on what's currently in the works and what is being done in the future.  For example, it would be helpful for potential new site members if you had a list of all the projects that you have done to date and what your working on.  That way we can quickly look at what's been done and see if it's something we are interested in learning.  In short your asking us to shop without knowing what your selling.

I see that you have a link where you have future project, but there is no date on those so how do we know if there in the works, done or otherwise.

    Just a few thoughts.

    Brett,

The projects currently in process are a 9 feet long Dining Table in the Hand and Power Tool Workshop and a Portable Tool Cabinet in the Hand Tools Workshop.

When you subscribe to the workshop you have access to all the videos that have been made.    In the Hand tool Workshop there have been 8 projects completed plus the current one and in the Hand and Power Tool Workshop there have been 9 projects completed plus the current one.

Subscribe to both workshops and you will have access to over 1,100 videos created in the past 5 years.

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or professional woodworker you will learn something new or ways to improve your skills.

    Happy working wood,

    Don

    Rob,

I too am just getting back from scout camp.  What a workout!!!

Below is just a quick idea on what  I was trying to describe above.

    HANDTOOL CLASS

    Project #1

    Northern White Pine Candle Box

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_C01ZWk8O8

Featuring half-blind dovetails, hand plane finish, sliding lid, fluted panels. The box started as rough lumber, no power tools were used. From scrub plane to winding sticks to the dovetail saw everything was done by hand and filmed in high def from start to finish.

    Project #2

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gelRP8XJCXU

    Northern White Pine Hall Table

Featuring mortise and tenons, tapered legs, wide panel glue up, as well as cutting a bevel on the underside of the top and using a chamfer on all the corners.  Rob also shows a unique method of joining a table top that he developed to allow seasonal expansion.

    Project #3

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DApFhKLQ_po

    Northern White Pine Bookcase

Featuring mitered edge dovetails, thru-wedged tenons, edge bead, rabbet joints, dado's solid wood backs. I really like building case pieces, the White Pine was fun to work and it is so warm to the touch it is one of my favorite woods.

    Project #4

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvLmP6MwoKs

    Black Cherry Shaker Table

It is a classic Shaker design, it was also the first project with a drawer. We used mortise and tenons on the two frames as well as dowels where the bottom frame meets the legs just below the drawer. The finish is straight from the plane, no sanding. The drawer has a solid cedar bottom designed for seasonal expansion.

Thanks again for the great on-line content.

Hello everyone and having been a member for just 3 months its amazing how tiny things that come in each video stick and prove useful. U are certain to learn by watch any project right through it not always about the project. I like that things do go wrong as the art in woodwork is correcting these. One thing i do think may help new people like me is some highlight of the current project just a different colour for the text in the index would do.  Regards. Kev James wales

Good Idea Kevin.  All text for the current projects in the Hand Tool and Power Tool workshops will be in RED.
