know how sensitive the microphone is? I can hear all of the lip smacking and drinking etc.... that goes on behind the camera. I enjoy the conversations you have back and forth, it somehow makes the videos' more interesting to me, I don't know, maybe I'm being over sensitive and I shouldn't say anything. I love the brass marking gauge. I hope to get some more of your tools as time goes on. Just bought the Woodriver #6. I like it and the prep video you did for the 5-1/2 really helped me set it up. I've decided to get rid of all of my hand planes and only use the #6. Bought extra blades too, just finished grinding a blade for scrubbing.

Thank you for everything Rob and all the folks who work for you

WE are going to go to a lapel mic so the drinking and lip smacking and throat clearing will all be me!  Glad you like the show and really happy to hear how it has helped.  I think I will do a Stanley #80 as well.  Really enjoyed the plane set up.  Cheers

Ahhh PatrickB, you took the words right out of my mouth :D

It's a small thing in the scheme of things, but you are not alone in your thoughts :)

Most of the time I just try to consider it part of the more natural, less staged approach I like about Robs videos :)

Other times, it is a bit like finger nails being dragged on a blackboard. ROFL

Keep up the good work guys, we still keep coming back for more
