Fret saw - pull or push

    Rob,

    I realize that this might be an "it depends on what you prefer" question, but is there a preferred way to attach the blade to the fret saw from a pull or push perspective?

    Fret saw is always used on the pull. Same as a coping saw. Reason is. The frame of the saw is not rigid enough to withstand the pressure. The frame can hold the blade tight, but not withstand the pressure of a saw stroke. So it is used on the pull.
