I just attended the Training the Hand "Purple Heart Project" in Niagara Falls Canada November 13-17. I have to say it was an absolute joy to attend and I am a better woodworker and a better person for it. Hats off the Rob, Jake and Luther for doing an outstanding job of helping me through the process of learning how to properly use the tools and ultimately make some great dove tails! I was a paying student but I also have a 100% disability rating from the Veterans Administration so I understand what these wounded warrior are going through and was proud to be able to help support Robs Purple Heart Project by attending. I encourage everyone to get behind the Purple Heart Project and support it any way you can, it is truly making a difference the the lives of the wounded warriors sponsored to attend!

It was truly a pleasure to get to meet you in person.  I look forward to further communication with you and the others in the class.

As to Jeff's comments, I was fortunate enough to be a "scholarship" attendee to this class.  I am a 90% rated disabled vet and I cannot say thank you enough.  I remember taking a pc of walnut down from 1 1/8 to nearly 1/2" with hand planes.  Rob asked me what I was doing and why I didn't stop at 3/4".  My response was that it was too therapeutic to stop...he said to just keep going then...

Please help support Rob, Jake and Luther in this project.  I am a testament as to the benefit of it...
