At the risk of being a jerk, could you possibly lighten up a tad on your comments and instructions.  It's like having my mother in the shop.

I think jake's comments are the best!

Like a few days ago when Rob dropped a square and he said he hates it when tools drop... Jake was like 'Wasn't that a 600 Dollar square?' That made me laugh. (well not the fact that it dropped and possibly damaged)

I recently had a square drop, and will admit I laughed a bit when he said that. Mine definitely wasn't square after that, however I didn't spend $600 on it.

I've been on this forum for years, so I've heard Rob's comments for years. Now even so I'll still pick up some little thing I've either not heard him say, or maybe it was because I wasn't listening.

Too, there are many who are new here, and they need to hear these comments and instructions. After all, that's we're here; to learn.

Ray was kidding for those who may think otherwise.  Jake has far more insight than I would have given him credit for.  He has come up with stuff I would never thought of, could come from holding the camera for the best part of 7 years.  His idea for the pin board guide in the drawers we are currently building was brilliant.

It is very hard to hear Jake with this new Mic setup in use.  I love Rob's Mic and I love the overhead boom Mic that is in use.  The saws and other machinery are much quieter now, not eardrum breaking levels like in the past.  I was wondering if Jake also wore a Mic like Rob's that we could hear him better.

    Hey guys,

I ran across this post a while ago. I was delayed in responding also, only because Rob has backed Jake up (rightfully so) and that should be the end of it. However, I can somewhat agree with the O.P. in that Rob is an experienced journeyman, and really not in any need of too many comments/suggestions. I was also in construction for over 30 years and know what that means. It certainly doesn't mean that you know everything or never make mistakes. For sure, a main benefit of watching the vid's is watching the solution to issues. It's where experience shows, and the rest of us benefit from it.

Please don't take this as a criticism on anyone, It's just that whomever is holding the camera can always read the name on the apron, know what I mean?

BTW, the unedited videos show both confidence and humility. Very strong virtues from a wonderful guy and family. I am sure that is a big reason we all enjoy watching.
